1. What is the difference between playmats and rugs? Which one should I go for?

Unigo playmats/ rugs are more advantageous than regular playmats. Unigo playmats don’t harbor dust and bacteria since they don’t have the furry texture of regular rugs. These playmats are recommended to children with a predisposition to allergies or those suffering from allergic asthma since they stay anti-allergic all through their expected life.

It is very easy to clean Unigo playmats due to the texture of their surface that is different from rugs. Playmats don’t absorb the liquid if spilled on it. However, any dye spilled on the playmat can leave a stain, and we cannot provide a guarantee for it. We don’t recommend using alcohol and synthetic chemicals to clean off the stain since they can leave permanent damages on the patterns of the playmat.

Also, if you use a chemical cleaner on it, the cleaner may damage the paint over time. This is why you should clean these products with a soapy cloth made from your baby’s soap or shampoo. You can also just wipe it with a wet cloth, for these products don’t tend to show dirt. We don’t recommend using vinegar and soft soap.

5. I just unpackaged the Unigo playmat. It seems wrinkled and there is a smell. Is this normal?

Unigo playmats can seem wrinkled when unpackaged. This is because of the packaging style. Wrinkles and fold lines fade in time depending on the frequency of use. Likewise, the smell you feel is the smell of the package and will vanish over time. To speed up the process you can wipe the playmat with a damp cloth without using any soap. The smell is not harmful in any way. Unigo playmats are recommended to children with allergic tendencies and allergic asthma.

6. How to clean the playmat?

You definitely shouldn’t wash the playmat at the laundry machine or rub while hand washing. You can wipe it with a damp soapy cloth made from your baby’s soap. You can also wipe it with the wet wipe you use for your baby. We don’t recommend using chemical cleaners and products like soft soap or vinegar.

At Unigo.com.tr we cover the shipping cost if your purchase is over 500 Turkish Liras. For purchases below 500 Turkish Liras, shipping cost will be added to your cart as 85 Turkish Liras. If you are asked to pay extra during the delivery, please contact us.

Orders received on the weekdays are submitted to shipping the next day. Orders received on Friday afternoons are delivered to shipping on Monday. Delivery is made within 3 business days to addresses within Istanbul and within 5 business days to addresses outside Istanbul via Yurt İçi Kargo.
